Projects I can talk about in public

Ada's Thinking-Machine: Lord Byron's daughter and the quest to build the world's first computer (non-fiction)

I have produced a proposal for this project and about 15,000 words of sample material. I am currently seeking a literary agent to represent this project.

Cantia (fiction)

This young adult novel is written. I am currently seeking an agent or a publisher for it.

The Mating Game - this is a novel about the friendships, loves and adventures of a feisty, beautiful young woman called Ivana (Vanny) Jones, who is - among other things - a professional chess-player. I am writing this book under the pseudonym Jessie Singer and will share the authorial credit for the book with my friend Jovanka Houska, the British Women's Chess Champion, with whom I am collaborating on this project.

Confidential projects - I can discuss these privately but cannot talk about them in public

An inspirational book about human relations. I am ghost-writing this book in close collaboration with a long-standing client who holds a senior position in a management consultancy.

An inspirational book about leadership. I am involved with editing this book and doing some writing. My client here has a thriving international consulting practice.

A thought-provoking book arising from a key aspect of market research. I am editorial adviser on this project
